Tint Darkness for Sedans:

• Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed above the manufacturer’s AS-1 line.

• Front Side windows: Must have a VLT of at least 28%.

• Back Side windows: Must have a VLT of at least 15%.

• Rear Window: Must have a VLT of at least 15%.

Tint Darkness for SUV's and Vans:

• Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed above the manufacturer’s AS-1 line.

• Front Side windows: Must have a VLT of at least 28%.

• Back Side windows: Must have a VLT of at least 6%.

• Rear Window: Must have a VLT of at least 6%.

Factory tint or "privacy glass" refers to a tinted appearance on the rear half of the vehicle that is built into the vehicle’s glass during manufacturing, which is achieved by adding dye to the glass rather than applying a film. This "factory tint" is not removable, but is meant to be tinted over. Privacy glass does not provide protection against harmful UVA rays nor provides heat rejection.

Automotive window film installations typically take between 1 to 8 hours, depending on the selected service and the vehicle’s specific year, make, and model.

The Factory rear privacy glass typically has a shade equivalent to around 20% VLT (Visible Light Transmission). Florida law prohibits a 20% shade on the front windows, however the next lightest shade would be a 30% or 35% which will keep your windows compliant. Tinting the front windows can enhance the style, comfort and performance of your vehicle for that sleek factory look!

Avoid rolling down your windows for 3 to 5 days after installation to ensure proper adhesion. The film may take up to 30 days to fully cure. Always clean tinted windows with an ammonia-free cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth. To prevent damage, avoid contact with sharp or hard objects and do not apply decals directly onto the film. Water bubbles, soap streaks, and haziness are part of the normal drying process and are not cause for concern.

Avoid using the front defrosters for the first 5 days. Keep the car out of direct sunlight for 3–4 hours post installation to allow proper initial curing. Avoid cleaning inside of windshield for the first 5 days. The film may take up to 30 days to fully cure. Water bubbles, soap streaks, and haziness are part of the normal drying process and are not cause for concern.
